Nominate your community champions for recognition

LINCOLNSHIRE is full of kind people who go above and beyond the call of duty to help their neighbours.

Everybody thinks from time to time that a person they meet “deserves a medal” for what they do.

The next best thing is an NK Community Champion Award, backed by community-minded businesses within the District and coordinated by North Kesteven District Council.

Here in Sleaford, nominations are closing next week for the North Kesteven Community Champions Awards.

The council is intending to champion local people across 11 categories:

■Community spirit;

■Young Achievers;

■Community Businesses;

■Contributions to climate action;
