SLEAFORD residents and visitors had a chance to ride a circular bike last week and race a pedal-powered Scalextric whilst thinking about the best options for active and sustainable travel.
-
TravelLight 2025 was designed to promote walking and cycling and using buses and trains and was the brainchild of Sleaford Climate Action Network and North Kesteven District Council.
Visitors to the event enjoyed lots of different activities.
Especially popular was the so-called Circlecycle, a Circular Bike with seven seats, and the pedal powered Scalextric, while younger visitors were treated to an interactive story from the Rhubarb Theatre.
