DO YOU LOVE TO BE BESIDE THE SEASIDE?
EVERY year, hundreds of thousands of people visit Skegness, whether it’s for a day out in the sun or a week-long holiday with family and friends. There is plenty to do in the town, but when you're visiting the coast, one thing almost everyone does is get an ice cream.
However, in recent years the prices of everything have been going up and up, and while it may be easier just to grab an ice cream from whichever stand or cafe you’re passing, it might be worth comparing a few in the area to make sure you are paying a good price.
To save you the hassle of having to wander away from the beach and hunt a bargain, we visited a number of businesses selling ice cream to find which one sold the cheapest whippy, and also what the coolest ice-creams were on the menu. Not too far away from the beach, we found whippy ice creams being sold for just £1.70 at Sharpeys, near the entrance to Tower Gardens off Grand Parade.
