Finally, some good news: the dodo is coming back and just in time to challenge novelty jumpers and chocolate orange-flavoured Baileys for Most Unnecessary Christmas Idea 2032.

They're bringing back the famously extinct bird and reckon it'll be the most in-demand festive gift since Tracy Island. And by 'they' I'm referring to a company which goes by the understated title of Colossal Biosciences.
It is, I read, what is known as a 'de-extinction' company. Ironically, or perhaps aptly, you don't see see many of those around these days, do you?
