Wilson goes down a storm on debut... and with fellow Bairns thanks to win bonus

JOHN MCGLYNN joked Kyrell Wilson made himself an instant favourite in Falkirk’s dressing room when firing them to their first Premiership victory - as he'd netted his teammates a welcome win bonus too.
-
The Bairns claimed an invaluable three points as last Friday's loan signing from Swansea came off the bench to net the only goal of the game at Aberdeen.
It was a big moment for 20-year-old Wilson, this his first senior goal, and for a Bairns outfit who are now finding their feet in the top tier after back-to-back promotions.
McGlynn said: “Kyrell coming in just the other day, goes on, gives a little bit of impetus in the game, a little bit of enthusiasm and fresh legs.
“He manages to get on the edge of the box and get the win.
“That will make him very much a favourite within the squad — now they have managed to get bonus money out of one of our new signings coming in and getting a winner for them!
“He'll be integrated very quickly if he continues to do that.
“I'm delighted for him, for the team and I'm sure that will settle him and the squad, from his point of view as well.”
Falkirk were left idle the weekend before, given Hibs’ European commitments, but now have four points out of a possible nine.
And McGlynn - pushing to get a loan deal done for right-back Aaron James from Wrexham - said: “A bit of weight off the shoulders, you know, you want to get it.
