HOLLYWOOD star Karen Gillan has been announced as the face of a new limited edition blended whisky.

The Inverness-born actress is fronting the latest offering from Compass Box entitled "Hedonism The Muse”.

Best known for her roles in the likes of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and Jumanji, she has now turned her talents to the water of life.

Gillan said: “To be considered a muse for this whisky and be part of its story is deeply personal to me. Sharing whisky and stories are some of the best times of my life.

“There is no wilder sensation than seeing yourself on a whisky bottle.”

Gillan has been immortalised on the label by artist Emma Hack.

Hedonism was launched in 2000 as the 'first' Scotch whisky to prominently feature a woman on its label.

Compass Box uses a different female artist each year, allowing them to reinterpret the original Hedonism woman from their unique perspective.

For the 2026 edition, Angela D’Orazio, creative director of whisky-making at Compass Box, included some of the oldest components ever used in Hedonism.
