Time for a grown-up chat about an AI ban

FELLOW grownups, isn’t it time we stopped pushing the “I fear and loathe artifical intelligence” button and gave ourselves a sharp pep talk?

Instead of prophesying doom, and solemnly anouncing that a ‘dire day will dawn when hostile AI attacks the human race and annihilates everyone, shouldn’t we knuckle under and learn to love ChatGPT and its ilk?

Teeing up a debate on my Vanessa show by asking the question “Should AI be banned in schools for both students and teachers?”, I was pretty sure the answer would be a resounding yes.
