Stride: Reeves has made all the wrong choices

CHANCELLOR Rachel Reeves was accused of making "all the wrong choices" as new data showed the economy has barely grown.

The UK narrowly escaped recession with GDP growth of just 0.1% in the final three months of last year, Office for National Statistics figures showed.

It followed zero growth in the three months before that. Data from the ONS also shows GDP unexpectedly fell by 0.1% in January.

Ms Reeves admitted there was "more to do" but Shadow Chancellor Mel Stride said: "To govern is to choose.

The Chancellor made all the wrong choices. We are all paying the price."
