Stokes slams 'ridiculous' calls for injury substitutes

BEN STOKES has trashed talk of substitutes for injured players in Test cricket, insisting: “It's ridiculous there is even a conversation about it.”
The England captain, who played through the drawn Old Trafford Test against India despite cramps and soreness in his right bicep, fears the system would be open to abuse and manipulation.
