SMITH'S READY FOR NO.1 TEST

JORDAN SMITH hopes helping Hibs storm to third will be enough for him to start this season as No.1.

The former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper was initially backup to Josef Bursik last term, but his promotion to the first team last November sparked an incredible turnaround as Hibs soared away from the basement.

Bursik has returned to parent club, Club Brugge, following the end of his loan, but Smith now has fresh competition in the shape of Raphael Sallinger after the Austrian joined from TSV Hartberg.
