Simpsons fanatic to say 'I d'oh'...

A SIMPSONS fan with more than 2,000 collectables, who once hid his memorabilia from girlfriends, is marrying a fellow fan.

Michael Irving, 37, will even wear an accessory inspired by the show on the big day — a pair of pig cufflinks which featured in the cartoon.

Before meeting his fiancee Anita Scarton, 34, Michael would hide his collection from dates.

The Australian journalist and editor began collecting The Simpsons merchandise as a teenager more than 20 years ago and was known as “Simpsons Mick”.
