SHE'S ELECTRIC FOR ENERGY MSP IN OASIS FREEBIE TICKETS ROW

A MINISTER has been blasted for accepting free Oasis tickets from a company he is meant to scrutinise in his role as a committee MSP.

Ben Macpherson enjoyed a lavish freebie at the expense of Centrica, the giant gas company, despite him being a substitute member of Holyrood’s net zero, energy and transport committee, which looks at issues suchas energy bills and sources of energy.

Mr Macpherson (inset) was treated to lavish VIP hospitality as part of the £1,200 gift at the first of Oasis’ Edinburgh concerts in August. Every show in the capital sold out almost straight away, with fellow SNP Minister Neil Gray criticised for trying to get tickets during a panel at SNP Conference in 2024.
