SFA URGE COURTS TO ENFORCE BAN ORDER
Scottish Daily Express
|June 11, 2025
SFA chairman Mike Mulraney has urged the Scottish courts to make greater use of their powers and hit football yobs with banning orders.
There has been a worrying rise in dangerous flashpoints during the past season.
Defender Jack Mackenzie suffered a serious facial injury after being hit by a seat thrown by an Aberdeen fan at the end of their league finale at Dundee United.
There have been several other incidents where missiles have been hurled at players as well as ongoing issues surrounding the use of pyrotechnics and pitch invasions.
Mulraney wants to stamp out the sort of reckless match-day behaviour that jeopardises the safety of those on and off the pitch and he believes the most effective way to do so is by making full use of football banning orders.

Tough choices for a country already squeezed dry...
LET'S play a game of Who Wants to Plug a £40billion Black Hole?
