Sexual attack doc 'has fled the country'

A DISGRACED doctor who faced being jailed after being found guilty of sexually assaulting his patients is feared to have fled the country.

Egyptian-born Dr Mohammed Gado was due to be sentenced yesterday but failed to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was previously granted bail on condition that he did not leave the United Kingdom before being sentenced and his passport was retained by the court.

But the court was told that Gado who has been placed on the sex offenders register — had not been seen since the jury returned guilty verdicts against him.

They found married father-of-five Gado guilty of sexually assaulting two female patients at Kings Cross Hospital in Dundee.
