ROHL: WE'RE ALL IN A MIX

DANNY ROHL was torn by the end of their battle with Livingston.

- BY SCOTT MCDERMOTT

And not just because this pulsating Premiership title race is emotionally dragging him from one extreme to another.

After seeing his Rangers team fight back to get a 2-2 draw in West Lothian - when it looked like all was lost at one stage - he was delighted with the character his players showed.

But, at the same time, the Ibrox boss was left scratching his head about exactly why his side found themselves 2-0 down in the first place.

After the high of the previous weekend's top-of-the-table victory over Hearts at Ibrox, Rangers were in a hole against the league's bottom side.

Rohl's men found themselves down to strikes from Brooklyn Kabongolo and Lewis Smith, and facing more probing questions regarding character and bottle.

At certain points in the game, with Livi keeper Jerome Prior saving everything thrown at home, it was difficult to see the visitors scoring one, never mind two goals.

But Cristian Montano’ red card gave them a clear route back into it.

And thanks to Emmanuel Fernandez’s strike and Mikey Moore's header, Rangers found a way to salvage something.

Rohl said after the Hearts win that their mentality shouldn't be questioned again.
