PRESIDENT: ISRAEL AND IRAN HAVE TO FIGHT IT OUT
Scottish Daily Express
|June 17, 2025
DONALD Trump predicted peace in the Middle East, but said in the meantime, Israel and Iran have to “fight it out”.
The US president said he was optimistic the warring nations could “strike a deal”. But he added:
“Sometimes they have to fight it out.”
It came as an Iranian state TV reporter had to stop a live broadcast when a huge explosion rocked the studio and debris fell from the ceiling.
IRIB anchor Sahar Emami rushed off-camera and later broadcasted live from another studio, telling of “bodies of reporters” at the previous site.
Moments later, Israel said it had struck the Tehran studios.
