And now NHS Lothian is inviting staff to apply to take part in a new group to work on its response to the report.

According to leaked emails, seen by the Scottish Daily Express, between 15 and 25 people are being recruited to the Transatlantic Slavery Recommendations Implementation Group, which will include a mix of NHS staff, patients and community members.

It will consider how NHS Lothian responds to the recommendations of an independent advisory group.
