Orr insists pal makes her job easy

SCOTLAND centre Emma Orr is widely seen as one of the rising stars of world rugby.

But the modest 22-year-old is well aware she can’t do everything on her own and gives much of the credit for what she gets right on the pitch to her more experienced centre partner Lisa Thomson.

The pair are set to start in the Scotland midfield against Wales in Saturday’s opening Pool B match of the World Cup in Manchester.

Orr is the more likely of the two to catch the eye thanks to her ability to exploit gaps in the defence. But she insists that a lot of the time it is Thomson who makes her look good.
