O'Brien's star filly adds fourth Oaks title in style

IDAN O'BRIEN voiced his approval for Minnie Hauk after he brought ithe Classic star up to concert pitch for an Oaks fourti mer.
At building society odds of 8-15f, bookmakers were unwilling to take any chances on the standout contender of a select field.
Minnie Hauk started her journey to stardom in May, whizzing around the turns of the Roodee in the Cheshire Oaks, which taught her enough to take the battle to Whirl for the English crown at Epsom.
But Minnie Hauk did not stop at scooping two, simply doing what was required to add the Irish version at the Curragh in July and then turning on the style to wrap up an awesome foursome in Yorkshire yesterday.
Several firms were sufficiently impressed to make her the 6-1 joint favourite with Kalpana for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe on October 5.
