New figures blow up SNP indy debate

Murdo Fraser: pro unified Britain

A new report has confirmed that 60% of Scottish exports go to the rest of the UK, more than the EU and rest of the world combined.

The UK market was worth £55.4 billion to the Scottish economy in 2023. In contrast, all international exports amounted to £37.7bn.

This figure includes £21bn to non-EU destinations, with the EU accounting for just £17bn. Despite the figures, the SNP-run government wants to remove Scotland from the UK in order to rejoin the EU.
