Mum loses family court fight over £1m giveaway

A DIVORCEE who gave over £1million to her high-flying daughters to avoid losing her state benefits has been left with nothing after trying to retrieve her fortune in court.

Camilla Bains handed a £340,000 divorce settlement to her children, including FA sports doctor Sonia Bains and lawyer Sharn Bains.

A court heard she set fire to papers regarding her ownership of a £800,000 home after fearing a welfare fraud case.

The mum and daughters were once so close that Sonia, 38, donated one of her kidneys to save her ailing mum.

But they ended up fighting in court after Camilla Bains tried to get the house and cash back from Sonia and her trainee solicitor sister Sharn, 29.

Suing at Central London County Court, she claimed her daughters had made up a story to keep her wealth.
