Missing climber's body is discovered on Skye

A BODY has been found in the search for a missing German tourist who vanished after visiting the Isle of Skye with plans to climb a mountain.
Matthias Beutin was last seen at Blaven car park, near Loch Slapin, at around 11.30am on Thursday, October 9.
The 57-year-old was planning to climb Bla Bheinn but hadn't been in contact with family since. A multi-agency search was launched to trace the German national and now, over a month from his disappearance, police have confirmed that a body has been found near Coire Dubh, in Blaven.
