LEANNE CRICHTON praised the mentality of her Rangers side after they came from a goal down against Partick Thistle to take all three points - and stay at the summit of the SWPL.

Rachel Donaldson had given the Jags an early lead when she smashed home from Hannah Robinson's through ball.

Thistle held firm until Katie Wilkinson pulled Rangers level with just over 20 minutes left to play at Petershill.

Laura Berry then netted a killer second just three minutes later.

There was a goal too from 16-year-old May Cruft before Kim Shin Ji bagged her first Rangers goal to secure a 4-1 win that belied much of Thistle’s endeavour.

“I thought the second halfperformance there was a real response from the group,” Crichton told Rangers TV.
