Schoeman gives it straight to trophy-hunting Gunners

PIERRE SCHOEMAN reckons Edinburgh can't afford to have any off-days if they're to compete for silverware on two fronts.

If the Gunners beat the visiting Lions in the Challenge Cup on Friday they will have a home quarter-final a week later against the Bulls or Bayonne.

And in the URC they face a big fight to get into the play-offs, so every game there feels like a knockout too.

The Lions were whitewashed 42-0 by Glasgow Warriors last weekend but 30-year-old prop Schoeman is adamant it won't be easy to get a result against them, given that they thumped Edinburgh 55-21 earlier in the season in Johannesburg.
