HOOPS ON TRAIL OF £5MILLION BEN

CELTIC are keeping tabs on £5million Bosnian powerhouse Benjamin Tahirovic.

The Hoops have been tracking the 23-year-old Brondby star and are weighing up a move before the midfielder heads off to the World Cup.

Tahirovic (left) is attracting attention from across Europe after an impressive campaign in Denmark following his £2.5m switch from Ajax in 2025, with Portuguese cracks Porto also on the case.

The Swedish-born 23-year-old also had a stint in Italy with Serie A giants Roma, having smashed on to the scene at Vasalund as a kid.

Sources in Scandinavia suggest Brondby are looking to hold out until after the World Cup, with the 6ft 3ins defensive midfielder's value expected to soar.

The Hoops have yet to slap down an offer and are considering several options while the managerial position still has to be nailed down at Parkhead.
