Hatton family thank fans for loving tributes

THE devastated family of boxing legend Ricky Hatton have told of their heartbreak over his death as they thanked fans for their outpouring of love for the star.
Well-wishers left flowers and cards outside the ex-welterweight and light-welterweight champion's home in Hyde, Greater Manchester, where he was found dead aged 46 on Sunday.
In a statement issued through Greater Manchester Police, his family said: "Richard was a loving father, grandfather and brother, and a true friend to many.
