Trainer claims champ jock guilty of professional fouls

RAP: Oisin Murphy has been criticised by William Haggas

WILLIAM HAGGAS has accused Oisin Murphy of committing “blue murder on the racecourse” through his use of racing’s “professional foul”.

The 30-year-old collected his fifth champion jockey’s trophy before the start of the QIPCO British Champions Day card at Ascot on Saturday.

Haggas praised Murphy as “an outstanding rider” and added: “There is no doubt, he is the best around.”
