FIT HASTINGS RARING TO GO

ADAM HASTINGS says he is feeling as fit as he has been for ages after getting over a horrendous facial injury.

And now the Glasgow playmaker is looking forward to a good run of games as the Warriors fight on two fronts — in the league and the Champions Cup.

The stand-off, 28, fractured his jaw playing against Scarlets in November. He made his comeback in Glasgow’s last outing, the home defeat by Ospreys, and is set to be in the starting line-up on Friday when the team hope to return to winning ways at Scotstoun against Munster.

He said: “It was good to get back out there the other week and I’m feeling fit — the fittest I’ve felt in a long time. It’s pleasing coming into this time of the season feeling fresh.
