Drugs chase crooks jailed for killing Amy

A DRUG dealer and two accomplices who killed a Scottish mother in a deadly car chase have each been jailed for 11 years.

Arslan Sajid was behind the wheel of a Mercedes which hit the back of a Vauxhall Vectra driven by Amy Rose Wilson.

It happened in July 2023 after the 24-year-old, along with associates Andrew Gregoire, 29, and Anthony Davidson, 32, believed they had been ripped off in a drugs deal.

Sajid believed Ms Wilson, 27, and her boyfriend Ryan Paterson, 23, had stolen a five kilo haul of cannabis which belonged to him.

A high-speed chase ensued resulting in a crash that caused her car to spin on to the other side of the road and plough into oncoming traffic.

Ms Wilson died from her injuries and her partner was left badly hurt.

Sajid fled to Pakistan to avoid being arrested following the attack but eventually came back to face justice.

All three were yesterday sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow.
