Dog dies in park murder bid

THE owner of an XL Bully dog was injured in an apparent murder bid which also left the animal dead.
The victim, who has not been named by police, was walking the dog in a park in Aberdeen when the attack happened.
Last night, the man, aged 51, was said to be in a “serious but stable” condition” in hospital.
