Gassama continues Euro goal spree as Martin's men cruise

RUSSELL MARTIN got the Rangers response he wanted as his side crushed Viktoria Plzen to take a giant leap towards Champions League qualification.

The Ibrox boss took a huge gamble by dropping skipper James Tavernier and star man Nico Raskin after ripping into his players following Saturday’s dismal draw at Motherwell.

But it paid off big time as his hungry side ran riot against the Czechs, with winger Djeidi Gassama scoring either side of a Cyriel Dessers penalty. New signing Oliver Antman dazzled on his debut by winning the spot kick and setting up Gassama’s second early in the second half.
