Clintons refuse to testify at the Epstein inquiry

FORMER US president Bill Clinton and wife Hillary, once secretary of state, face being held in contempt of Congress after refusing to testify in the Jeffrey Epstein inquiry

The couple yesterday declined to comply with a subpoena to testify in a congressional committee’s investigation of the late paedophile financier. In a letter released on social media, the Clintons slammed the House oversight committee probe as “legally invalid”.

They wrote that committee chairman, Republican Representative James Comer, was on the cusp of a process “literally designed to result in our imprisonment”.
