CCTV captures final moments as Scottish hoods gunned down

THIS is the dramatic moment that Ross Monaghan's killer chases him round his Costa del Sol pub and shoots him dead after assassinating Eddie Lyons Jnr outside seconds earlier.

The graphic footage, broadcast on Spanish TV yesterday, showed the gunman dressed in black honing in on Monaghan as he stumbles and drops to his knees in front of him.

Two innocent bystanders, apparently a waitress and a man in black whose identity is not known, can be seen running for their lives before the hitman calmly pumps at least four bullets into the Glaswegian hood from close range.

Monaghan, 43, and Lyons Jr, 46, were leading members of the Lyons organised crime family.

The group has been locked in an escalating gang war with their hated north Glasgow rivals, the Daniels.

The jailed Edinburgh drugs kingpin Mark Richardson and a Scot based in Dubai - who has been named as former Rangers football hooligan Ross 'Miami' McGill - are also embroiled in the complex feud.
