The British No.2 was made to work hard for his quarterfinal win but continued his recent good form by edging out lucky loser Kyrian Jacquet 4-6 7-6 (2) 6-4.

It was the third match in a row that Norrie has been taken to a deciding set. He took command early on and swept into a 4-1 lead against the Frenchman.
