Appeal to catch 40 wanted over riots

SEVERAL suspected rioters are still wanted by police a year after last summer's disorder.

A website is being set up to highlight about 40 who have yet to face justice.

Local and social media appeals sharing suspects’ images have been used but a senior police officer said they could have travelled to cause mayhem.

Assistant Chief Constable Ian Drummond-Smith, who led the national response to investigating the riots, said: “We've still got some people who we have got good images of and we haven't yet identified.
