Andrew will be summoned to testify before US Congress

PRINCE Andrew is set to be summoned to give evidence in front of a US committee about his links to disgraced paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Stephen Lynch, a senior member of the US House Oversight Committee, said he wanted to speak to the King’s younger brother “regarding his involvement in all of this”.

The congressman went on to say he was “sure” an invitation would be issued to Andrew to speak about his association with Epstein.

As a UK citizen, the royal cannot be subpoenaed to attend a hearing in the US. It would therefore be his choice whether or not to give evidence.
