The High Court has now ruled that PPE Medpro - the company linked to Mone and her husband - failed to honour a £122million contract to deliver sterile surgical gowns during the height of the pandemic.
That money will have to be paid back, but this isn't just about that. It is about trust, integrity and whether people in power think they can play the system while the rest of us suffer.
