There are moments in life that remind us of the true beauty of community—moments when hearts beat in rhythm, when laughter becomes a healing sound, and when love fills a room so completely that you can literally feel it resting on your shoulders like a warm blanket.
This year’s 7th Annual Living Springs Senior Holiday Festival was one of those moments.
Hosted with joy, gratitude, and a deep sense of purpose, the celebration brought together a powerful gathering of seniors who radiate wisdom, strength, and an unshakeable faith in Jesus Christ—the One who truly sits at the center of the season. I had the honor of hosting this special event, and I can tell you firsthand: this wasn’t just a holiday gathering. It was a divine appointment. A sacred pause in time. A moment where the presence of God moved freely through food, fellowship, music, and the preached Word.
A Gathering Filled With Joy and Legacy
As guests entered the beautifully decorated space at Living Springs, you could immediately sense a different atmosphere. This wasn’t the type of event you simply attend—this was an experience you feel.
The room was filled with seniors who have lived through decades of seasons—some joyful, some difficult, but all meaningful. They brought not only their best holiday attire and brightest smiles, but also their life stories, their testimonies, and their resilient spirits. Many of them have been attending this celebration since its first year, forming a tradition rooted in love and community.
For seven years, the Senior Holiday Festival has been more than an event—it has become a cherished family reunion, a time for reflection, reconnection, and rejoicing.

Holiday Nostalgia
Nostalgia. If there was ever a word I could most closely associate with my favorite parts of the holiday season, it's nostalgia.Of course, being a Millennial who grew up in Philadelphia, nothing sparks more nostalgia for me than the Christmas Light show at John Wanamaker's department store.
