Floods wreck Northeast states

The flood crisis across Northeast India remains critical as heavy rains continue to batter Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, and Sikkim, leading to’ widespread devastation.

In Assam, over 4 lakh people across "15 districts are affected, Cachar remains worst-hit with over 1 lakh impacted. Ten people have died due to floods and landslides so far.
