Away from the screen, Ginny keeps her private life relatively under wraps but currently lives with her teenage son in Oxfordshire.

The TV host was born in Rochdale, and her career in the media started at a very young age. At the age of 12, she presented a children’s programme on a local BBC radio in Manchester. She also appeared on BBC children’s programme Multi-Coloured Swap Shop.

Several years later, Ginny packed up and moved to the other side of the world. At just 18 years old, she started a new life in Sydney, Australia, where she worked in commercial radio.

Ginny kickstarted her journalism career while in Australia, working as a junior in the newsroom at 2UW and later at Triple M. She also worked as a reporter on TV programme C’mon Kids.
