Punjab has become the first state in India to provide reservation benefits in the appointment of law officers, a significant step towards social equality. This decision was announced by Cabinet Minister Ss. Harbhajan Singh ETO, who thanked Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann for implementing this policy.
