Tiger Shroff’s performance can’t save the film

BY THE interval, with a superb performance by Tiger Shroff as a supposed mentally-deranged young man with anger management issues and as veteran Sanjay Dutt shows up on screen, I was preparing for a great second half with a rating of 8 out of 10 for this movie.

- FAKIR HASSEN

Unfortunately, the second half continuously devolved into an orgy of nonstop mindless and senseless violence, blood and gore as story writer and producer Sajid Nadiadwala lost the plot (pardon the pun) to derail what could have been a top-class suspense thriller.

So, the 8 stars kept dropping until it could not go much lower. The only saving graces being some good songs, and Shroff’s performance in the first half.

Director A Harsha also does nothing to salvage the situation.
