Romcom intertwines tradition and modernity

VARUN Dhawan and Jahnvi Kapoor return in this movie after their previous outing together in Bawaal two years ago, with a different romcom theme this time than the somewhat violent love story of their previous film.

The rather unusual title comes from their names Sunny (Dhawan) and Tulsi Kumari (Kapoor), which are also a kind of pun on the clash between traditional values of arranged marriages and the modern youth view on love, marriage and naming children.

The plot that sets the scene for some very entertaining comedy is quite simple - Sunny, who hails from a middle class family, is besotted with Ananya (Sanya Malhotra) whose higher-class family has plans for her to be mar-tied to someone of their own stature, Vikram (Rohit Saraf), so she breaks up with him.
