A modern love story with classic undertones

PERHAPS director Aarti S Bagdi tried to make a love story in which the names of Aabeer (Fawad Khan) and Gulaal (Vaani Kapoor) become immortalised like modern-day versions of classic lovers such as Laila Majnu and Shireen Farhad, who went through great trials and tribulations of a different sort, just like these two.
But while the movie is watchable, it will hardly be a memorable classic like those made about the other lovers.
Aabeer runs a successful Indian restaurant in London and goes to Jaipur to find a winner in a cooking contest who will work in his restaurants there.
