Data obtained from a Freedom of Information (FOI) request shows that hundreds of incidents of rubbish being dumped are dealt with by Fareham Borough Council every year.

From January 2025 to March 2026, the authority spent £26,238 on clearing fly-tipped waste.

This followed 283 reported incidents of dumped rubbish in the 2025/26 financial year, according to the council.
