New president for Rotary Club of Polokwane

As the presidential term of John Mogodi of the Rotary Club of Polokwane ended, Rotarian Phetambaram (Pheta) Francis was inducted as the president for 2025/26 at a gala dinner at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World on Saturday evening.
Francis introduced Adriaan Anderson, John Mogodi, Geshim and Aneshrie Francis, Vinesh Devchander, Mxolisi Bambo, Chymie Naidoo and Matome Mafikeng as his new board for the year.
For 25 years, Francis dedicated his life to teaching in schools across KwaZulu-Natal.
Born and raised in Durban, he inspired generations of learners with his passion for knowledge and nurturing spirit. Colleagues recall him as a beloved teacher who turned even the most mundane lessons into engaging experiences, helping students discover their own potential.
