Mitchell's Plain Fitness Club turns one

Mitchell's Plain Fitness Club celebrated its first anniversary with the aim of reawakening their members' consciousness.
The event took place at Westridge Civic Centre hall on Thursday, July 3.
On the rainy day, the club and the invited guests highlighted the need to maintain a stable supply of healthy, safe blood and blood products, while encouraging people to become regular exercisers. But it was also an opportunity to thank the members whose passion for exercises enhances the lives of other people who admire their lifestyle.
Founder of the club Andre Sauls said he appreciated the members and leadership who have ensured that the first anniversary celebration was a success. He said the club was more than just a fitness group, but a movement dedicated to empowering the community through health, wellness and inclusivity.
