Phase two puts Saints back on the right track

St Johnstone are firmly on track for the second phase of Simo Valakari's summer signing spree.
Left-back Matty Foulds, released by Harrogate Town at the end of last season, trained with Saints yesterday. He was set to put pen to paper and become the sixth close-season addition to the Perth squad.
And the 27-year-old could be joined by prolific Welsh striker Louis Lloyd.
Saints have agreed a fee with Caernarfon Town where Lloyd netted 22 goals in 36 appearances last season.
Valakari deliberately targeted players with Scottish second-tier experience in his first round of transfer business.
Jamie Gullan, Sam Stanton, Reghan Tumilty, Jack Baird and Morgan Boyes know the Championship well.
Now the net has been cast further afield as Saints prepare for their first public friendly of preseason at Forfar Athletic tomorrow.
Foulds was on the books of Everton as a youngster then played in Italy for Serie C side Como.
He returned to England to feature for hometown club Bradford City before two years with Harrogate.
