Guinness World Record holder Howard Warrington’s epic seven-hour battle against False Bay’s unforgiving waters has netted nearly R65 000 towards the Cape of Good Hope SPCA’s animal sterilisation programme in December last year.

Despite enduring jellyfish stings and battling challenging conditions for seven hours, covering more than 22 km, Warrington fell short of reaching Rooi Els.
