The suspension of basketball and volleyball recreational hub programmes at Hangberg Sports and Recreation Centre has raised questions from both the Hout Bay Hurricanes Basketball Club and the local community.

In a statement sent to People's Post, the Hurricanes said they were informed that the recreational hub programme at Hangberg had been suspended “without prior consultation with community organisations”.
